Partial Case Experience in Other Matters

Willis Wetzler, an individual On Behalf of himself and derivatively as a fifty percent shareholder of Rocky Mountain Motels, Inc., U.S. Motels Ft. Collins, Inc., U.S. Motels Denver Central, Inc., U.S. Motels Airport, Inc., And D.T.C. Lodging, Inc. v. Gail Sevier, an individual, and Marrs, Sevier & Company, L.L.C.  – on behalf of Plaintiff reviewed Defendant's tax working papers and other documents resulting from Plaintiff's allegation of professional code of conduct violations in connection with tax return preparation and consultation services provided by Defendant.  Written report prepared.  Favorable settlement for Plaintiff.


Karen Clark and Jeffrey Clark v. Barton L. Sachs, M.D., M.B.A. And Texas Back Institute Physicians, P.A. – on behalf of Plaintiff analyzed structure of Defendants operations and evaluated factors to be considered under the Single Business Enterprise Doctrine.  Written report prepared.  Favorable settlement for Plaintiff.


Yurman Design, Inc. v. PAJ, Inc. d/b/a/ Prime Art & Jewel in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York - on behalf of Defense, reviewed and analyzed the attorney billing time entries provided by Plaintiff for mathematical correctness, inconsistencies, duplication of effort, etc. in order to determine the reasonableness of attorney fees relating to Plaintiff's claim. Case settled before trial
