Business Valuation Services

Herblin’s appraisal process requires a multi-dimensional examination of a business and its environment.  Pertinent financial, tax, economic, and industry data are analyzed and interpreted to arrive at the worth of a business.

Businesses are benchmarked against similar industries and averages to evaluate the benefits     and the individuality of each company. Herblin is    a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA).

Most of Herblin’s clients seek a business valuation to determine the estimated fair market value of their or their client’s business.  The specific purpose of the business valuation will determine the approach that is necessary for the valuation.  Herblin spends a considerable amount of forethought in determining which of the three approaches of valuing a business best suits the client’s business.

In the majority of the cases in which we are involved, a business valuation is required for one of the following reasons:

bullet

Disruption of business

bullet

Divorce

bullet

Dissenting shareholder action

bullet

Economic loss analysis

bullet

Partner/Shareholder buyouts

bullet

Eminent domain

bullet

Evaluation for potential sale

bullet

Estate Planning
